A recent study in Orange County, CA., reveled the following:
In November,2007, there were 16,128 homes for sale in Orange County. The days on the market (for the average home sold) for November in Orange County was 73 DOM (days on the market).
In the study conducted of Professional Home Stagers by Staging101.com , it was determined that of the 16,148 homes, approximately 1% (actually a little less than 1%), was staged using a Professional Home Stager. Yes, less than 1 out of 100 homes were staged by a Professional Home Stager.
Of these Orange County Staging Professional, the study revealed that the last two homes that these stagers staged and that sold, that they were on the market an average of 50.8 days. The median was 46 days. This tells us that Professionally Staged Homes in Orange County sold 30.4% faster than the other homes on the market.
